The History of Nova Scotia website collects, preserves, and provides access to a growing collection of digitized materials of historical and educational value. The heart of the archive consists of creative works, images and documents that are freely available to the public. The main goals of this website are to highlight the events and people that shaped the history of our province; to organize and collaborate research efforts with others willing to contribute to this project; and to promote on-going discussions on Nova Scotia's past. Ultimately, I hope this site will become a significant resource for recording, studying, and debating our diverse heritage.
